Loss of a Beautiful Friend

I have blogged several times about this gorgeous Weeping Willow tree.... my friend Ophelia.

Last summer she got chopped and I almost chained myself to her for fear they would cut her down... she fought back and regrew her branches...

About a month ago, I moved. I said my goodbye and gave her a hug.
This week, her life was taken by some evil tree-killers...
At least I said goodbye to my old friend who will never be forgotten :(
